Guys, why do boyfriends send memes to other girls?

i’ve been with my boyfriend for 7 years and he recently met two girls while he was out with his friends and he followed them on instagram and he started to send memes to one of them. and they both posted a picture of all three of them on instagram. this happened in October to November of last year.

it makes me sad 😔 i asked him why he did that and he said “i can’t talk to you or laugh” because all i do is complain. he also said he doesn’t do it anymore but it’s hard to trust him. i feel like he will do it again because i know he’s not happy with me

Sounds like the spark died out a while ago, he's legit finding connections else where without even realizing it is what it seems, I'm sure you'll know at some point if it's worth investing more time or not.
