There is no way for us to know that. We can't read people's minds. We also know nothing about him or his personality or if he would be inclined to do such a thing. Sounds like you are going to wait it out. My question is why make such an offer? You just gave him an easy way out if he does indeed want to break up. That isn't the smartest of moves in my opinion. He may have not even been thinking about that but I can guarantee you that he has now. He may have just wanted space for whatever reason. You give no context to the way he was acting or why so hard to say. I think the biggest mistake here is you voluntarily opening the door for him to leave.

I'm not sure. Maybe he's busy or feeling sick. There are many possibilities he can't or don't wanna reply. Not all of them are to split your friendship.

1.4K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Here's a tip... don't say everything on your mind to men. We don't communicate that way and it's annoying to us. At best we will ignore you saying it. Worst case we decide to take it on face value EVEN THO WE KNOW YOU ARE JUST BSing but it's less work to dump you than to get hit with psycho accusations 5x a day.
I think most women know this which is why women tend to be less serious about the dude early in a relationship but 'forgot' to mention it to him.

I am going to give you the exact same reply that I did yesterday when you asked here.
Does he want to break up since he didn’t reply?

Asker1 yWhy wouldn’t i give him an easy way out? I don’t want a hassle in breaking up
1.4K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Give it a fucking rest already, how many times you going to ask this goddamned question? You asking him if he wants to break up is going to make him think that you want to break up, genius.

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yHow exactly is he acting?

Asker1 yDistant not replying to anything ignoring messages
Opinion Owner1 yJust because he’s acting distant does t mean he wants to be single. A lot of times when a man is distant it’s cause something is going on. Could he be that he doesn’t want to be in a relationship w you anymore? Sure. But there’s also a million other reasons why he could be acting this way. Men tend to retract to their corners when they have something going on that they need to figure out. I would t jump to conclusions the way you are. Maybe he has financial problems going on. Family issues. Problems at work.
Asker1 yBut he’s barely responding to me not trying to. See me
Opinion Owner1 yIt you’re assuming he wants to be single. Has he done anything else to make you think he wants to be single? Like I said when something is going on men usually stick to theirselves.
Asker1 yNo he hasn’t he just hasn’t been responding or trying to see me or tell me what’s wrong
Opinion Owner1 yWell that’s one thing you need to understand about men. We don’t always share what’s going on. Men most of their lives have never really had someone to go to or talk to about what’s wrong. As a boy growing up you’re told to stop being a big baby, that no one is going to save you but yourself. So like me I never talk to any one about what’s going on if there’s problems, not even my girl of 16 years. Maybe once I can think know that I’ve talked to her about what was wrong. But as a man I have to figure that out, to take care of my family. To not put that burden on her.
Asker1 yBut he’s completely shut me out how do i know whether to wait or move on
Opinion Owner1 yHow long has t been?
Asker1 yA week
Asker1 yHe said his phone broke last Friday and ever since then it’s been hard to see and contact him he opens my messages and don’t reply when i try to see him he says we can meet up but doesn’t out effort in the time to meet
Opinion Owner1 ySo before all this did you notice anything? You don’t know of any problems he’s going through?
Asker1 yNo we went on a trip everything was fine … then he stopped responding to my messages and said his phone broke
Asker1 yThen he told me he’d get a new phone on Monday … it’s way past Monday
Opinion Owner1 yNothing happened on the trip? No arguments?
Asker1 yNot really after the trip we were texting he didn’t say anything. I told him last Friday i missed him and he said he missed me too
Asker1 yI asked could we go get seafood a day after the trip he agreed
Asker1 yThat’s why this week i asked if he wanted to break up he left he on read at first then he replied hours later
Opinion Owner1 yI see. Well something for sure going on. can't say if it’s cause he wants to break up or not. Like I said could be a million other things. I’d give it a little more time. How long have you two been together?
Asker1 y4 months i think his phone is broke and he doesn’t have any money
Opinion Owner1 yMaybe. I’d make sure first
Asker1 yWhat else could it be?
Opinion Owner1 yFinancial problems. You said his phone is broke, he doesn’t have money.
Asker1 yWhy is it so hard to say that then
Opinion Owner1 yBecause as a man you’re expected Ted to be the one to take care of things financially. To men a big part of being a man is having finances, taking care of your loved ones. If you don’t than you feel less of a man, a failure.
Asker1 yDoesn’t he know if he doesn’t respond or call or see me i should assume he’s ghosting me and leave
Opinion Owner1 yNo. Not always. How old is he? Does he live on his own?
Asker1 yHe lives with his family he’s 29
Opinion Owner1 ySo has he actually done anything w his life? He’s almost 30 living at home. Why?
Asker1 yI don’t know why
Opinion Owner1 yWho knows maybe he’s realizing he wanted a good amount of his life. That he should be further along in his life compared to others. I’m not sure. I don’t see how he’d be able to take care of you if he asked you to marry him. Maybe he feels like a failure.
Asker1 yMaybe he’s using his cell phone as an excuse not to speak to me
Opinion Owner1 yMaybe. Like I said could be a lot of reasons. Maybe it’s not an excuse. Like you said he broke his phone, doesn’t have money. So how is he going to get a phone if he’s broke? It might be the truth. I kind of think you’d be better off meeting someone else.
Asker1 ySo why not break up instead of ignoring me and leaving me in the dark does he expect me to get the message and leave him be
Opinion Owner1 yDon’t know. How to say. You could help up w him.
Anonymous(18-24)1 yThat makes sense to me.

Asker1 yIf i ask him does he want to break up and he doesn’t say anything or answer me an i safe to assume he’s done
Opinion Owner1 yYes I think so.
Asker1 yBut he replied later and said no
Opinion Owner1 yI think you need to have a heart to heart chat with him
Asker1 yI don't know what to say we went on a trip and ever since then he’s been acting funny towards me
Opinion Owner1 yThat’s weird.
Asker1 yHe said his phone broke
Opinion Owner1 yYeah right.
Asker1 yHe responded to me on social media but isn’t texting me
Opinion Owner1 yI don’t know what to tell you.
Is he wanting a breakup?
