I believe I’m reading too much into this, but was he hinting that my opinion is important to him?

I was chatting with my crush and he was complaining that he’s tired and we should have shorter week days. I said “oh definitely, I agree” and he said “well if YOU agree then I’ll go to the big boss about it”. It didn’t sound sarcastic and the whole time, he had a smile on his face. But he is always smiling when we interact.

Kind of but not really. The way I took it is that that’s one more person (you) who can attest to the same thing. Hell if he could get 10 more people to agree then it could build a stronger case for what the majority want. Doesn’t mean it’ll happen but if you get a lot of people together to vote on the same thing it’ll make your case stronger. I hope that makes sense. I’m not sure if you’re thinking oh he thinks my opinion matters to him so does that mean he likes me as more than a co-worker.
