Why are so many men inept on pursuing a woman?

Story: I matched with a guy 36 years old. He wanted to be FB friends so we talked a bit on there. Next am he asked if I wanted to do something today, I said sure what did you have in mind. He said depends on the part of town your in, I say where. He said okay. I mentioned a free event going on, I was merley suggesting it. No response, maybe because I said I had to run errands. 1.5 HR later he says let me know what time your thinking, I give my time. No response, I text few min later I'm open to other suggestions too, just let me know. 10- 15 min no response... I say okay, sounds like your undecided. He texts back right away, saying " Well we don't know eachothter and I'm trying to keep it middle of the road" I texted saying I'll just make other plans, not sure why he bothered to ask me out!

I Literally gave a place, time and free event ideas to meetup. Im not the man! I was suggesting an idea.. Why did this guy ask and put in Literally NO effort. I finally unfriended/blocked his #. At 36 years old, you'd think you would know how to ask a woman out, Take the Lead. If you ask a woman out, have a general idea.. i don't get men, it's like they want us to pursue, yet show no initiative.

I hate to say that the feminist because I'm not. However, men don't like being shot down and, nowadays, men don't want to be accused of being molesters or anything else. The way some women are so hostile towards men has made it that men generally are not as aggressive on the dating front as they were generations ago. They don't want any accusations against them or any drama or any other bullshit.

So I feel bad for women like you who probably aren't like that because the male dating pool is a lot more apprehensive that approaching women than they were when I was young.

The way to get around it is for you to clearly express interest in a man that you might be interested in. Then two things happen: first, he knows he will not be shot down since you are the one expressing interest, and, second, there won't be any drama due to "unwanted advances" by him.

I'm sorry, but the shoe was on the other foot now compared to the way it was 60 years ago.

Some people just don’t want to meet someone they just met and I would be careful online. Also it’s a two way street I’ll only initiate so much if I’m not being shown effort in return I tend to start moving on. But seems you’re the one getting the short end of the stick just tell him that you were happy talking to him, but you feel that it’s reached a dead end so you don’t want to waste his time or yours.

Sounds like he was a little nervous or scared because you were actually willing to meet right away and he was not expecting that I guess

Something else to consider that most people want to ignore. All of those COVID shots gradually destroy the brain cells (and all other systems). In time you will notice this and most of the population have taken them.

Sounds like he was busy and not paying full attention to the texts. Would be better to call him (or he can you) otherwise this nonsense can happen.
