My friends with benefits lost his job in January. He found a new job and starts next week. He told what shift he works and how much he's getting paid. Is it common for guys to give that info or does he potentially want more in the future

He’s just being friendly. He might be into you, but you can’t assume that from the little he said. I tell plenty of friends I’m not dating stuff like that.
