Why is this guy that I met online texting me daily. He is always texting me.” Good morning beautiful and good night/sweet dreams”?

So I would like to know your opinion on if this is normal or not? It seems that he has an interest in me, but my suck at texting in general. I am waiting to set up a call with him soon on video. But I still think why would somebody text me daily at the beginning in the first week? Especially the good morning and good night every single day? I thought that was when you are actually in an official relationship and not the first week you know somebody.

That’s not the point of the question. I’m saying that it’s excessive to text me every single day the first week and has if we’re in a relationship with all those greetings.

Would it be too blunt for me to ask him “what is his intention”? It’s just so weird to me because he just already acting like we’re in a relationship. Almost with the daily texting and greetings. Nothing has been actually said about what the status is and what he actually wants from me. Thanks.

Well, that's odd. An appropriate response would have been to hopefully pursue a relationship.

He could just be moving slowly... but those texts are usually made by someone seriously pursuing a relationship.

Exactly I agree! I don't understand why be so intense and then say you want to move slowly. It's very contradicting.
