Why won't crush block me?

so I liked this guy after talking for weeks. But now he says he doesn't like me, and said leave him alone but won't delete me or block me on snapchat? like why does he keep me as a friend there if he is so bothered. I've even asked him to block me and he won't?

Why does he need to delete and block you? Why can’t you do that yourself? He may not have a personal problem with you just because he doesn’t want to date and he has the restraint not to talk to you. I’ve only deleted and/or blocked men I had an issue with otherwise I don’t care to do all that, I know I won’t be talking to them again of my own volition,
