Would super shy guy play a mind game?

My crush who is super shy invited me to go skiing together even though we are on different levels (I’m average, he is very advanced) . He asked me when I’m free and I gave him dates that I have time this week and next week, but he hasn’t responded yet (it’s been 2 days)

He doesn’t really respond to the girls so I was so happy that he invited me to hangout, but I’m now worried about if he plays the game (like, casually invited but didn’t mean to)

What do you think?

I would say it depends on how quickly he normally replies. If he is always slow then I wouldn't worry about it and he is probably trying to arrange his time to work with your schedule. If he is usually very quick to reply, he may be playing games.
