People don’t have to have things in common to date. Why would I want an exact version of me? I’ve been w my girl for 17 years. We didn’t have much in common but now a lot of things I’m interested in she’s interested as well. I also like things she does that I never tried. It’s helped us to grow in our relationship. That’s like when women ask what would a man who is 35 have in commons w a girl he’s dating if she’s in her 30s. They don’t need to have things in common. If he’s a business owner, he doesn’t need her to sit there w him all day talking about business statistics. There’s plenty more in life they can connect on.
would I date my polar opposite, well
I don't really have a polar leaning myself... I don't have a strong leaning towards any side, and I am not centric either
and my exes were not extreme either, not that political either, now... if a person identifies itself as politics being a big part of their identity then I will probably am not going to be that much into that kind of relationship dynamic
politics NEVER make you happy, and even when things go your way (as in, your party won the elections) there's still a lot of hatred involved going both ways so... I just rather not partake on that... lol
You could just do what I do and avoid anyone who thinks one side of politics is going to help them anymore than the other side will.

Simply because he's attracted to you.. My ex is a hard far leftist, and back then I identified as a Conservative, and I pursued her anyways.. I told her not to hate me because I voted for Trump and she made a pact that neither of us would vote come "2024" not to cause contention.. We didn't even make it pass 6 months as I thought we wouldn't.. And it really reminded me of how much core values aligned are important.
Yes values are very important. I can hangout as friends but nothing more.
Yeah, pretty that's how it usually goes.. Lol..
Absolutely, differences are what make relationships interesting. But I think something to look out for would be whether they accept & respect said differences.
He is into you because of your looks and not what you have in common.
For sex.
I'm saving myself for marriage
I don't think so. But either way, I'm not having sex with him.
Then he's an idiot.
I presently am
