Sounds like you might be experiencing a Panic Attack. It's like "heart attack lite." It's caused by high anxiety. A lot of people describe the feeling like having something heavy on their chest.

I don't think you can actually die from a panic attack, but you might want to look into taking Ashwagandha to help get those cortisol levels under control.

That sounds like a panic attack. It can be terrifying, but it will pass once you're able to calm yourself back down. (or get someone else to help calm you down).

Concentrate on breathing slow and regularly. Try and focus on one thing in the room.

Remind yourself its a panic attack, and you are not actually in danger.

Heart attacks make you feel an impending sense of doom, not sadness. Your chest could hurt for a variety of reasons but if you only notice it when you feel sad that’s probably the reason.
