I met this guy on Instagram and found out that we are from the same state and we have the same profession. He sent me a DM request and I replied him seeing all those similarities. These were very casual talks, we talked about our hometowns, work etc. It was during the weekend so I thought that the conversations would end then and there.
However, he texted me multiple times throughout the week and I usually took time to reply. The frequency increased, on this weekend he told me that seeing my photos he feels like I need to wear my culture's traditional outfits more and I should practice wearing them everyday because those are the clothes that make women feminine. I asked him if he thinks the same thing about men wearing traditional outfits often and he said that: "it's different for men." He further added: "modern women don't know what they want." It felt like sexism and double standards. He also made some remarks about my appearance by saying that I should eat more and that straight hair would suit me more (instead of my natural curls). I got enraged but I suck at fighting. Then he said that he was just joking and trying to tease me.
He again sent texts to me today saying: "Why didn't you text me all day? What are you doing?" Well, my guy, I have a life.
Am I overreacting or he's just straight out audacious? I wasn't expecting a stranger to say such stuff.

He wants to change you to better fit what he wants in a woman, yet he barely knows you at all.
Give your attention to people who like you the way you are from the jump
Thanks for saying that. I wasn't going to see him in a romantic way at all, I talked to him because we are at the same profession and I wanted to know how it is for him. The fact that he so automatically assumes that he's my type while he can change me to be his type is getting on my nerves. Thank you.
Go ask him, don't stall us by asking here..
Why are you being rude? You can choose not to reply me.
