Guys, I've been single my entire life, literally never dated, no guys has ever come up to me and officially asked me out, what could be the reason? ?

• For context I am a 23 year old female, I'm not the most out going but is tarred college this year. I don't think I'm extremely ugly, so I'm just looking for some perspective. I mena msot people experience a relationship and a connection and I feel like life is passing me by in that domain of things. I don't want be forward and ask a guy out and I don't expect him to just walk up to me and ask me out but I mean I'm starting to doubt my appearance just by the fact that no guy has come up to me to genuinely give a compliment. I’m going to say it’s probably your looks. I’m not saying this to be mean, but as men, men usually go for looks first. That’s what gets her foot in the door. Only after that does her personality start to matter more if he’s really interested in her. W out more info that’s what I would say it comes down to.

Yeah I get what you mean, I am currently overweight and its been a struggle lose weight, so as disheartening as it is to hear that most men won't even look past that sucks. I also have acne though not as bad, it's still there.

Been a my wife for 17 years, but I feel a lot better when I go to the gym. How’s your eating habits? Maybe not the best. Maybe an improved diet might help w the acne. I understand how you feel about the looks but I don’t write the rules on how men and women see things. How much would you say you’re overweight?

I weight about 98kg- though because of my weight distribution you'd never say, my stomach isn't abnormally big but you cna still tell I'm fat from face and such.

Yes but I'm not consistent, my college schedule and assignments make it difficult to make time for it, but I know thats no excuse. I also have a condition that makes me pick up weight. My height is 4'5.

Ok. Yes consistency is one major key. I know I struggle w going myself since I work 12 hour shift, usually about 55 hours a week. I have started eating better, more protein w less carbs. Also cutting myself off at a certain time frame as far as eating.

Don’t give up. You are still very young. Do your best to do things where you can meet guys so they get to know you. If you are not comfortable asking guys out, consider flirting if you meet a guy you like so he knows you are interested.

I used to think that way about myself. I learned that if you’re on the shyer side, the opposite gender may see you as not interested.

I wouldn't say I'm shy, but I'm not extroverted either. If a guy is really interested woukdnt he go against he's assumptions and pursue a female his interested in anyway? Cause I find it hard to believe that every guy assumes I'm not interested, I mena I make eye contact I'm just not flirty about it if you know what I mean

Okay I know this is gonna sound silly but it would eguinely go against something I believe in. I guess iw as always taught that if a man really wanted a woman, he would pursue her because that is in a man's nature. It is more of a traditional mindset, and if you disagree with the statement it is absolutely fine. It's just that msot successful relationships I've finessed through family and friends, all basically serve as testimony.
