I met this guy at a party and he asked for my number. I thought he was cute, so I gave it to him. He and I started texting, but I notice that he gives me only one or two word replies. I thought maybe he was disinterested in me, but then he asked me on a date. I plan on going out with him to see if we connect, but I am just curious as to why he writes so little. Is this normal? I'm not normal, I tend to send thorough replies, but I've heard that a lot of men send short texts. I think if he seemed interested in person, see how the date goes. It's hard to know a person by texts alone. I think there's a difference between a man who sends short texts, and a situation where a man starts with long texts then suddenly changes to short texts without explanation. I hope it all goes well
