Why are guys so clueless about girl’s hints?

We aren't clueless. We see your feeble attempts to communicate your interest without taking any risks or making any commitment whatsoever. The classic eye lock and look away move. Moving into our vicinity in the hope that will make it easier to get us to approach you. The inane questions. Would you pass me a napkin please. The hair flip. The touch on the arm. The shy smile. The "accidental" bump. All of it plausibly deniable if you change your mind and want to deny you were trying to flirt.

The cold hard truth is... some men are tired of that childishness. It's tedious. And it gets you labeled as immature. Don't get me wrong, it's amusing and even funny to watch. But experience has convinced us that when it gets down to actual conversation it's gonna be painfully limited. We'll have to dumb it down and slow it down. And we still won't get any direct answers.

Because you suck at communicating. You're passive aggressive, never directly ask for what you want and then throw a fit when we have no idea what's going on. You guys are so subtle nothing short of someone saying I want to date would register to me as being hit on e=because every time I thought I was getting a signal I was wrong. y'all are confusing selfish arrogant and bitchy 90% of the time. Finding a woman that actually acts decent and communicates with you is damn near impossible. It's really not that hard to please most men and it's really not that hard to be direct but you guys want to be chased and drop these subtle hints where you shoot one glance like that's a sign and expect it to be enough? WTF. We're not clueless about your hits. Your hints are so subtle we think you're just being polite.

Because those men are socially incompetent. As a species we should all know how read body language/pick up on others hints. Its essential for survival not even just relationships

Women's hints are purposefully vague and indirect to avoid social awkwardness. That's a big part of it.

But there are also a lot of men who absolutely pick up on the hints, but we just don't follow up on them because of how many times we've misread the hints

How come women just can’t use their big, strong, independent girl voice to say what you want. I thought women were better at communicating? I guess not. Men don’t hunt around. We don’t talk to each other like that, that’s what kids do. Stop hinting. Use your words. How come every time men don’t do what you expect us to do or act the way you expect us to act we’re the ones who are wrong? I guess we’re supposed to be mind readers as well.

1) Guys hate games: instead of hints, use your big girl words, like an adult.

2) A one second glance from the other side of the room does not count as a hint.

3) Men have a 50/50 shot of being called a perv just for approaching a woman, so many times we just decide it's not worth it.

Because women really don't want to hint. She wants him read her mind. And since she's disgusted by this fact that he cannot, she's deliberately as vague as possible. Because to hint she'd have to put herself our there a little bit. Something she's dead set against.
