Why is a guy online trying to argue me into staying with him if he’s the one who kept randomly telling me everything about my appearance he wishes was different? What should I do? What is his motive because I don’t get it

If someone tells you they don’t want you or they can’t accept you for who you are which includes what you look like, why would you stick around? Is he serious? Did he think I would want to be around him?
