Why do guys hate when we have male friends because when I ask my boyfriend he gets upset he ignores my question?

Like i set boundaries to my guy friends who both are in a relationship but i always keep them at arms length yes we joke around but its never to the point we get touchy with each other i try to ask him what upsets him but he again gets mad and on my end i want to know what upsets him so i can do better on my end or try to avoid doing what gets him mad.

Other men known how other men think. Unless he’s gay, more than likely a female’s male “friends” want to fuck her. You may not think so as do a lot of other women, but a majority of men would screw their female friends. We know this because a lot of us used to do the same thing. If you can’t be her man, then being her “friend” is the next best thing. Because just maybe, one day she will come around and realize she should give me a chance. That I’ve been there all these years for her. Some of us would just be ok w having an friends with benefits situation. If a female is descent looking to cute yes most of her friends want to sleep w her. If I told you there’s this girl who always says hi to me, brings me food or a drink at work a lot, smiles a lot when she’s near me. All these things that indicate that she likes me, you’d be able to tell me that cause you’re a female so you can deduce her behavior. Men do the same w other men. It’s not about jealousy in most cases or insecurity, we just know what these men are looking for. Chances are if we have an argument as a couple she’s going to run to him, especially if they’ve been friends for a long time. More then likely he isn’t going to say give it time, he’s probably frustrated, he loves you, etc, etc. He’s more then likely going to say you don’t deserve this, he doesn’t deserve you, he treats you bad, you need to meet someone who will treat you like a princess, a queen. If you ever need anything I’m here for you. That’s his way of laying that trap by trying to put a wedge between you and your man to try and break the two of you up in hopes of something happening between the two of you. That’s not 100% but it’s a big percentage that’s for sure. Even in situation where the man is insecure about it cause he’s been cheated on or whatever brought him to feel that way, why is that wrong? It shouldn’t be. Women have all kinds of insecurities. But apparently men can’t. If you had a dream that your man was cheating on you, then you accused him of it. You said let me see your phone then. He said no, which to you meant he’s guilty because he refused to give you his phone. Then he said no I’m not cheating, I’m not giving it to you cause you should trust me. You have an insecurity. Wouldn’t it make sense to appease your fears if he just let you see it especially if he knew he wasn’t cheating? As irrational as your dream is to accuse him of cheating it would just make sense to appease those fears if he cared about you by showing you.

So... I agree with this bc I've been told again and again this is how guys tend to think, however as a girl who has a lot of male colleagues and guy friends... we're 100% just friends with nothing at all going on. Even a little laughing and chatting is ok as long as both people are adult and aware enough to hold the friend boundary very firmly.

But on that point... if I know a guy friend is not available (married/dating/etc.) I will ASK about their wellbeing but not be overtly/physically present in their lives so the guy doesn't get confused about my stance on our relationship, my intentions, etc. (I also tend to befriend the wife/girlfriend and deal with the guy much less.)

I don't know about that. Some gals find themselves feeling desperate for whatever reasons in their lives so perhaps that impacts what they need from a man. In my case I feel guys can be confusing — often fake and just buttering a gal up bc they want something — and it’s best to close the door to all that every evening and live the peaceful life.
