Hoping for some kind of connection. The feel that having a picture you sent makes you connected/interested. The more intimate the photo, the more intimate the connection. This is of course, nonsense, but guys truly have no idea what to do. Social media is telling him he has to 6' tall, 6 figure income and with a 6 pack, which by the way almost none of us have. So his social interaction is reduced to roughly collecting baseball cards.
