But if I think about it deeply then doesn't having to chase someone mean that person for the most part has their attention elsewhere and chasing normally means putting more effort than the other for validation, at that point isn't it more accurate to say that chasing is just a sign you should walk a separate direction instead of actually putting that effort? 🤔

If the right signs were there, wouldn't they be interested from the start and not need chasing? Just a observation I guess

I see chasing as when someone can’t take no for an answer. You constantly say no and they continue to try to persuade you in different ways. For example, they can buy you flowers or keep asking you without acknowledging you said no. I think it’s toxic because it means someone can’t take no for an answer sometimes and usually when it comes from, it might not mean they have the best intentions, but that’s not always the case, there are some people that like to play games, like the attention, and lead people on too, so I think that’s why it’s important to be a good human being and communicate clearly before people get the wrong idea.

Chasing a person for the purpose of getting into her pants is obviously a red flag and chasing is always about fornicating. Always!

You may deny it but with our screwed up society, it all boils down to copulating. People, mainly the younger generations, are no longer interested in a long term relationship (25+ years) but only in something short lived (less than 10 years).

Thus, yes, chasing is indicative that one goes out of his/her way to try to get validation with that person that is being chased. It is indeed a red flag.

I am certainly not willing to put up with that nonsense.
