Guys, when a man keeps saying "i really want to do (insert activity)" or "i wanna see this movie", is he hinting he wants u to come, or just talking?

the guy i like (I'm not 100% sure yet if it's reciprocated) keeps saying stuff like this. i'm not really sure how to respond bc i'd do anything with him but also don't wanna be like "yeah ill come! invite me!" if that's not what he's trying to do. we're also both autistic so that doesn't help 😭

I don't know if that's his intention, but it is a good way to set up a date. When he says I want to see that movie, that's when you say, Oh yeah, I wanna see that too. Then If he's interested he'll say I'm going to see it this weekend, you could come if you want. Then you say yeah, I want to.

true, he just sucks at communicating so I don't know if he'd actually invite me. we have seen a movie together though bc i was the inviter so i guess that's a sign he'd be open to it?

I don't know much about autism or how he communicates, but it sounds like you're gonna have to take charge of the dates. Just ask him if he would like to do that activity, or see that movie with you.
