So yesterday my friend and I were on our way home from a Halloween costume party when we passed by a bar my brother and his friends went to so I decided to go in and say hi since I know them all pretty well. I was dressed up in my costume and people kept asking about it so I explained that I was a princess (not a particular one, just wanted to wear a nice dress and tiara). My brothers friend then said “like you are everyday” and chuckled. I went with it and was like “yup! Usually it’s hidden but I let the princess out today.”

On the way home my friend and I were discussing whether or not he was flirting. I said no but she thinks he was flirting. I have quite the track record for being totally unaware of people flirting with me so my ability to sense that sort of thing is well documented to be off base.

I mean like I’m not sure why he’d say it as an insult when I don’t act entitled or anything (in fact I’ve been told I’m too polite) but who knows🤷‍♀️
