So there's a guy and I pretty sure we might both like each other but are shy, at the gym. He's a personal trainer so he's always with a client or too busy with texting people on his phone. We sometimes both look at each other, normally i'm the first one to look away unless I turn around and catch him. He also sometimes touches his hair when I'm around/ takes his hat off runs his hand through his hair. He got a few steps close to me once when I was doing karate, I kinda turned my head and looked at him, like I acknowledged him but kept training. A kid that's his client saw me watching him once and made a comment like you know he likes you/ I've heard him saying he's thinking about asking out a girl. He did accept my fb friend request even if we haven't messaged each other yet. Yesterday I caught him staring at me a time or two I glanced his way and looked away, he makes me pretty nervous>

“I’m pretty sure we might both be shy”
You can only speak for yourself, so it makes the most sense for you to act on how you know you feel vs waiting around on what you think or hope he feels. If you’ve already found the nerve to keep entertaining this “catch each other staring” stuff, along with finding and adding him online, then you might as well find the courage to actually make a move.
I know that some other questions come to mind, like “if he really likes me he will say something first”, well the same could be said for you too. Someone has to be the brave one and there shouldn’t be this expectation that the guy has to act first. Traditionally most women expect men to make the first move but times have changed.
Years ago I worked at a gym and was in charge of membership sales, our personal trainer’s bookings and managing their schedules. I’m fully aware of what can be said or done to not only get a new client but to maintain it, so for all you know this could be his way of leading into that. Which is another reason why I think it should be you making a move first. At least you know you aren’t just being suggestive of flirty out of convenience, you know this isn’t your job you have to worry about getting messed up in some way, you know how you feel already. Ball is in your court.
If a man’s intentions leave you guessing, he’s already answered you.
Confusion isn’t chemistry, it’s chaos.
And a woman who knows her worth doesn’t chase clarity from someone who benefits from her uncertainty.
When a man truly wants you, you won’t need to decode him.
His consistency will speak louder than his words ever could.
So yes, move on not out of anger, but out of elegance.
Because queens don’t wait for boys to make up their minds.
Invite him to coffee or lunch or whatever. He's probably not allowed to hit on the members.
