The provider mindset is so 1950s! And stupid. Like…it’s 2025. Economy has changed, times have changed! No guy can single handedly provide for an entire family today! Unless he was a freaking CEO or something! Maybe he could have in the 1950s where groceries or bills were like a quarter but now NO WAY JOSE!! WAKE UP!!

Complete nonsense. Raising a family can be done on a single income, quite easily. The problem is you young people never want to give up the single life. You think you need a $2M home with an in-ground pool on 100 acre lot, $70k cars, hundreds of thousands of dollars in “bling”, name brand baby clothes and top brand groceries. Not to mention daycare so you can still go spend thousands of dollars at the clubs and gambling rooms. You bit into that poison apple and now you want to blame everyone else that you can’t afford the MTV Cribs lifestyle AND have a brigade of babies.
I know plenty of men supporting their women and children singlehandedly. Even when their wives do make a few bucks, it’s always “extra” money. If she never made a dime, they’d be fine. Staying at home, she has time to find the sales, clip coupons, and craft her way to a frugal yet comfortable lifestyle. He knows how to fix the house and cars, and she can patch worn or damaged clothes, linens and upholstery. You wouldn’t dare. You grew up poking fun at kids who wore off brand clothes and hand-me-downs, whose parents had a bigger wad of coupons than dollar bills. You can’t afford to have a family because your priorities are f*cked. Not because it’s an impossibility. That’s a good thing. Cuz people like you make for lousy parents. You have to learn how to prioritize OTHER people to raise a family. Once you figure that out, the rest is actually pretty easy.

I wouldn't NO GUY. But it certainly isn't normal for one income to sustain a family anymore.

I wouldn't buy into the hyperbolic nonsense you read on G@G man. Most of these people are not married, will never be married, and if by luck they do get married will likely never STAY married. I have 4 sisters, all married, all have stayed married, and all work. Hell, one of my sisters is the PRIMARY income in her family.
