Hi, guys! I'm a girl and there's that guy friend of mine. He's multiple times suggested us going to shows together. We're both attending the same show next month. He asked me months in advance if I was attending. When I congratulated him on his birthday he thanked me and added that we'll see each other at the very next concert he'll attend. On my birthday he greeted me with a favourite song of mine (something he hasn't done for anyone else in our group of friends so far.) He texts back immediately whenever I reach out. And he replied with a voice message when I was concerned about a ticket. He almost got into a fight to protect me. The last time we saw each other he handshaked and said he was glad we saw each other. Otherwise he's joking around, making eye contact, touching my arm casually.

So my question is: does this sound to you like friendship and nothing more?

it sounds like he wants something more, he just doesn't have the balls to ask ya out , He might be unsure what you really want , so that's why he hasn't asked you out , and he probably doesn't wanr to lose his friendship with you , if you end up rejecting him , so if you really like this guy , ask him out instead

No, he wants more. If you don't, tell him so. Not just a quick "You know we're just friends" but a sit down "Dude, you're a nice guy, but it's never going to happen" This spares the angry reaction when he figures it out months or years down the line. If on the other hand, you ARE interested, tell him that too.

It sounds like friendship yes... And it could stay as just friendship forever. But... There is always something more when a man makes time for a woman.. We don't enjoy your company that much and your not much helping fixing the car when its broken.

He might be interested in you as more than a friend. He might be testing the waters to see if you're interested. Or he might just be a friendly, touchy guy. There's no way to tell without seeing the two of you together.
