Im happily married and this is why I said "most men" because i don't think my husband doesn't fall into this category.

Myself and husband met in are 20s and are each others firsts in everything not because we were ugly or anything like that just really highly selective id say. If im gonna commit to someone and give them all my love I want that to be for the right reasons with the right person.

I may sound like a bitch but i feel a lot of the men I work with her total losers. Like what kind of man in his mid 30s to 40s is still playing the bachelor, to me thats a massive red flag but I constantly see girls my age and younger falling for it.

Like if your 19 and your dating a broke ass 36 year old what kind of make a wish I that?

I just can't wrap my head around it all the men at my work are so desperate theyll sleep with anything with a vagina. There all having affairs and most these men are really past the sell by date but are managing to bag young woman but they will also shag anything that comes there way.

Like do men just not have standards for themselves even for hook ups. For example god im gonna sound a right nasty bitch here but im pregnant and some of the lady's im seeing rolling up at the maternity ward, leaves me questioning if they date raped someone or Stevie Wonder got laid

As with most questions of this nature, it's an individual thing; some men will, and some won't.

It's impossible to really get any more specific than that. You clearly know a number of men that fall into that category, whereas I know several, like myself, that have enough self respect to not act like that.

However, don't forget it does take two, also. Sure, the guys you are discussing don't seem to be too picky, but if they're still getting laid, what does that say about the women that are giving it up to them?

It's easy to say that some men have no standards, and that's true; some don't, but for a man like that to get laid, there are obviously plenty of women with no standards, either.

If a 19 year old is sleeping with a broke 36 year old, like in your example, why is it automatically the guy that's the problem? She obviously agreed, so if that relationship is a problem, then she's literally 50% of the problem.

Most men aren’t that and as many of those men exist….. there is just as many females who do the same thing. Best advice? Be glad you married someone who isn’t like that and be glad you don’t make the same choices.

Part of it comes down to just being horny and a lack of self control. Another part of is desperation. I’m the same as you I want someone to be the right person I don’t want someone choosing me because I’m just the best they could find. I know long term I’m going to probably be dumped at best and at worst cheated on. Probably both. Because that isn’t genuine attraction.

Now people stay single later in life for many reasons it doesn’t always mean they’re losers or that they cannot find love. But some people yes there’s a reason they haven’t found someone. Just ignore them and report sexual harassment and be firm.

A lot of men have standards and there’s a lot of women who don’t as well. There is also a percentage of people who have extremely unrealistic standards for a relationship….. but will fuck anyone. The male version of this oh he wants a traditional woman whose a virgin whose all this and that….. but he’s having sex with deadbeat whores spending money on them…. And knocking them up and getting STD’s from them. Don’t wanna date a single mom…… but you have kids in your own right you won’t take care of. That’s the extreme.

Women can do the same thing. Oh the bad boys the duck boys etc. Don’t have much going for them…. Except they’re fun in bed. But their ideal guy has a million dollars and is 7 foot tall. Yada yada…..

I would say many people also hookup because it’s low risk casual sex to them. They can have sex without committing to someone and when they’re unhappy in relationships….. again they can find someone else to fuck

Nope. Some men definitely will, but the majority of men are quite willing and able to commit to monogamy for a GOOD woman. Part of the myth about men cheating more than women is the fact that culturally we tend to examine women’s motivations for cheating but just assume men cheat because they’re dogs. Unhappy men are just as likely to cheat as unhappy women. Meanwhile, happy women are more likely to cheat than happy men. Simply because women’s options are greater at most points in their lives.
