Have you ever met anyone you felt was "possessed"?

I met a guy who seems calm and chatty with me, but with my friends he becomes very volatile (verbally abusive, violent, taking a gift and smashing it to pieces when it could have been useful to someone else). It's like he's possessed with a daemon or something. Even when he is offered a free meal he rants later about it. I'm not sure why. We're all here to help him, but there's something not right in his mind and his heart/soul is clearly uneasy. He's a veteran but never saw wartime; he's rejected by his family, which is all I know.

(He reminds me of the story of a guy who is healed by JC after being possessed and extremely self-destructive the way this guy is.)

I dated somebody a long time ago. She was the only girl I ever met in a bat. She was the bartender. We dated for a few months. She was really nice most of the time and I really was falling for her. I think she was bipolar or something. She was probably an alcoholic too. Sometimes usually when she was drunk she would get abusive to me. She would say the meanest things to me and sometimes it would get physical. I used to just try and restrain her because I would never hit a woman. She bit me so hard that I still have a scar. I was always afraid that she would get away from me and fall down and get hurt. The next day it was like she forgot about the whole thing.

Personally? I don't think so, but I'm sure I've seen plenty of examples of people in the news who I think might be...

Thankfully, no. I have never run into someone that gave me that feeling.

Dunno if I believe in being possessed, but I do think there are definitely quite a few mentally ill people out there with low levels of activity in certain regions of their brains

I worked in a mental hospital for six years, so i saw many patients who were possessed

No, he's just VERY destructive. For example, he was given a pass for free first aid kit and food supplies to keep with him in this cold weather -- he could have consumed it or bartered it or whatever. Instead he took $100 of supplies and recorded himself smashing it all and was proud to send it to the guy who gave him the pass, telling him that everyone in the world owes him one.
