What can I do about a security guard who followed me and demanded my number?

The shopping centre I always go to after University has this one huge tall muscular hairy South-Asian, maybe early 30s man that I am lowkey really terrified of, and I'm not talking just appearance, but he stares in a really creepy way with no emotion. And I always go there specifically because it is 10 minute walk from my house, 5 minute bus ride.

Last night i finished class late and arrived from the train station near those shops to go get bread, came out and was walking along a dark ramp to the bus stop and the security guy had followed me, had somehow remembered which route I took and was waiting at the end of the ramp, blocking my path.

He asked where I lived and my name and who I lived with etc.. I answered very vague and impatiently to seem busy. I was so scared i was trying to be polite because I thought I may get hurt if I'm aggressive. He also got so close and i backed up and tried to get past him to get to the bus stop but he wouldn't move and asked for my number.

MIND YOU i said no many times and he was so persistent. He started getting mad saying things like- "i know I'm your type! just give me your number", "give me your snap! what? you don't have a phone? how about i take it off you and write my number in it!".

Visibly scared, these two men had thankfully walked up the ramp just when he was getting real close and told him to fuck off, which he did, not without smiling innocently at me first. PISSES ME THE FRICK OFF that he didn't listen to me but two random men.

Honestly, i know i could've been harsher, firmer and maybe even violent but I'm such a pushover in public. I am furious now but in that moment i was terrified and frozen.

I can't just simply stop shopping there because it is the only shops near me and i don't have a car to drive elsewhere, so i just want to know what to do in this situation. Thank youu

Or a WD40 can and a lighter.

I recently bought it... but sadly in parts of Australia it is illegal to use pepper spray, even for self defense..
