Should I feel weird my coworker ignored me outside of work near the restroom?

I was putting cart away at the store and heading to restroom and glanced his way he seemed like he kinda looked but more on the phone either way I feel like if I saw him he must have seen me and didn’t even say hi I could of had but he didn’t really look up and we speak at work how would you feel in this situation if you saw a coworker outside of work by the way I was still supposed to work but I left earlier and he was off today

You say you didn’t say hi because you thought he was on the phone, meaning you admit he looked preoccupied. So for you to say that if you saw him then he probably saw you is just untrue. In any case you could’ve just walked up and said something if it matters, but you chose not to. So let it go. A lot of coworkers don’t talk to each other outside of work anyway.

But you can’t confirm he saw you, because you were most likely trying to be discreet and act like you didn’t see him. It’s one thing if you knew for sure he saw you and ignored you but that didn’t happen. You also could’ve approached him, so yeah I guess it’s sad that neither of you said hello to the other.
