Why is it that a lot of young guys always think women that are friendly are flirting?

There is a difference between the two. I had a coworker that is like 19 tell me that a woman likes me in a romantic way, just because she said hi to me lol. I had another coworker that is 25 tell me the same thing, just because a woman enjoyed conversing with me a lot. Lmao. A lot of the times/most of the time when women say hi, just enjoy talking to you, etc. are just friendly people and are the same way with everyone else. Most older men like my age don't jump ship like this and assume nonsense. It is mostly the really young guys.

Because most are. I'm not saying most women are interested, because most aren't. But that's the crux. Most young guys are too inexperienced to understand that this is a woman's entire game. She wants your attention not you. Women flirt like breathing.

They’re probably projecting. THEY wouldn’t be friendly to a woman or enjoy conversation with one unless they had some sort of sexual/romantic interest in them so then they assume women are the same.
