Everybody has insecurities to suggest otherwise is to ignore REALITY. Some guys just wear it better than others. Plus guys have added expectation of seeming bulletproof by SOME women (not ironically, typically the WORST women😆). I'm about a half century old. I'm about as comfortable as a person can get in their own skin. But there will still be women that will TRY to con me into believing i'm insecure. These types of women need to try to break a guy down so they can feel like they're on equal footing. The REALITY is it's typically THESE WOMEN who are the insecure ones.

I think your question should probably be, "What makes a PERSON insecure". Because i think it's the same for anyone. Fear of judgement. Women fear being thought of as UGLY or FAT, MASCULINE or at least NOT FEMININE. GOOD women also fear being not taken seriously though. Not being valued for more than their appearance. Because a GOOD woman's value FAR EXCEEDS her physical attributes. And men fear being percieved as weak, or not of consequence.

But as people age and MATURE they realize their value can ONLY really be accurately measured by the people who truly KNOW them. A person's value is not determined by other people it is FOUND by other people. A person who is SECURE in themself has LEARNED this.
