Why do women ask this question. You're focusing on the WRONG PART. It's not whether they approach or get approched. It's whether women show GENUINE INTEREST.

The saying has been popularized that MEN make the first move. This is seldom EVER the case. Women ALMOST ALWAYS make the first move by SHOWING interest in the man. MEN almost always respond by making the first PHYSICAL MOVE.

The problem is. There was a time when women were honest with their motives. When a woman showed interest because she wanted to be approached. But today we have a lot of insecure, but ego driven women who want men to approach her for attention, but that's all she wants. When the men approach her and she gets her fill of attention she rejects him. You don't have to be a genius to figure out that men are going to only do this so long before they just stop approaching.

And this brings us to wear we are as a society. Seldom is either gender honest with the other one anymore. Both have evolved their own rules and reactions to different situations.

Personally i have no problem approching a woman. But few women ever give me good enough readon to do it. And i get enough women approaching me for my. liking. because it's about quality not quantity. But whether she approaches me, or whether i approach her. If she gives me good reason to doubt her sincerity, than that is where it ends. She could approach me all day, everyday. If i doubt her sincerity, she getting stonewalled.

I’m going to have to say absofuckinglutely I love being approached & as for making the first move I’m not afraid to do that either. In life I always say if you never try you will never know & in life if you like someone you should be afraid to tell them.

I've made the first move before, including with the man I'm dating now. Not really my favorite thing but if I like a man, I'm not gonna write about him in my diary and hope for the best. In my experience, men seem more interested when you're direct.

I think it is a good idea to approach them first because every girl is approaching a good looking guy. The trick is to give him back the lead and hint that you want him to ask you out.
