If women want nice guys, why do “nice guys” keep finishing last?

why do nice guys get overlooked over and over and over and over again? This isn't something that I think happens, this is something I know happens. This is why I asked the last question about the matrix that women measure a man that want to date against, the real measuring tool. I always hear that women want a guy who is nice, who listens, who is on time, who is reliable, but for some reason, all the guy who I know that are like that are either single or have gotten dumped. The guys who aren't that way are almost always having to clear their schedule for another date they're going on. It is kinda crazy how universal this is. That is until the woman gets older and then finally realizes that stability is more valuable than the thrill of the bad boy.
