It probably depends on your criteria of a "dog". Most men are decent men. The problem is those are not the men most women seek. So without a doubt women get VERY skewed view of men.
When i was younger i took my forays into being a "dog". It's just not who i am. It never felt natural to me. But without a doubt it increased my success rate with women. The problem is at some point you realize the low quality of the women you attract. And then you become very aware of how many low quality women are out there. And the fact that their ranks are swelling. I do not envy young men today.
