Is the male loneliness epidemic really happening, or is social media exaggerating it?

Im sure men wouldn't want to be with women they think are not up to their standards and what they want, so aren't both genders just waiting around for THE ONE or at least someone they can tolerate? By societal standards, I shouldn't be with someone anyway, so im doing my part by staying single.

the vast majority of men want everything but relationships nowadays. they know how one sided relationships are and how rigged the dating game is against us.

Its been real for me. Its hard to meet people when you are always alone. I'm picky when it comes to choosing someone to marry, but I'm open to dating a much wider pool. Unfortunately, no one bothers to give me chance.
