How can you tell if a player likes you?

So there's this guy I kind of like I guess but he's known as a player and whatever, and I've never really gave much thought into him liking up until my friend said that she thinks he likes me and I guess it kind of makes sense because he notices things about me that no body else notices ,he'll kiss me in front of anyone! He walks long distances just to see me knowing he's not getting anything out of it, randomly texts me "good night" or "good morning" ,when other girls are around him or all up on him and I walk by or he sees me his attentions on me, he sits there staring at me in amazement, I just don't know ? Does he like me?

ive been played before and to this day I still have feelings for him, and I am warning you its not fun or funny or cute at all. players are good at what they do they don't care to hurt anyones feelings they just like to make you feel good that they like you but in reality they 9 times out of 10 dont, they aren't serious about any girl really, sometimes its not even personal against you, its just how theyre wired they don't believe in love, they don't care for marriage, they don't believe in being tied down, they just like to flirt, get attention and get a kick out of it. some players are worse and are purely in it for sex, while others are just in it for attention, fun, ego boost, fun, and more fun, like playing a video game you wanna see what happens next. they see you as an object, and that's something that you'll figure out in time.

The thing is, don't even get yourself involved with a guy like that. You are risking it. Players are players because they are GOOD at getting you to fall for them, give it up, and get with them. Its sneaky, but it works. Of course he's going to treat you well- he's getting something out of it. The idea is to not look like a jerk so you get some.

Now, they can develop feelings, they HAVE feelings because they are human beings. But, you'll always be wondering if they are lying since they did it so easily before.

If by 'like' you mean 'wants to have sex with you' then yes.

If you mean 'like' as in 'is falling for you and will give up his playing ways and settle down with you', then god no.

Thats truue, but see he can easily have any girl he wants and yet he's over here texting me and what not and instead of going and hanging out with his friends he sits there with me, and I've made it clear to him that he's not getting anything

If he's a player then he just wants to play you. He likes you but he'll still hurt you. Don't play with snakes if you don't want to get bit.
