How come guys hardly approach me? I'm starting to feel very insecure?

I didn't think I was ugly but now I'm starting to feel that way because I feel like if a girl was pretty, guys would approach her, right? I'm like one of the nicest girls ever, sometimes too nice lol but I'm also pretty shy so maybe that's a reason why. Sometimes I catch guys looking at me, but never approach me. A few guys would approach me but not that many. That has me feeling insecure, thinking like am I pretty or am I actually ugly? Guys, do you ever look at a girl if she's not attractive? And do you ever look at a girl but don't aproach her? If so, why? I would appreciate any answer I get :)

But if I saw you out somewhere, I'd assume you only went for guys with a bit of money and stability beneath them. I don't know why I get that vibe from you. I didn't say I had a legitimate reason.

My advice: smile a little more at guys that you think are cute. Give them the green light to come talk to you. Otherwise, they might assume you don't want them to.

Well, probably the ostentatious way you adorn yourself. Dual earrings, duel necklaces, duel wrist adornments, all made of precious metals. Glasses that evidently cost more than $200.00. Mac Makeup, looks like. And somehow, your lip gloss is always poppin'. lol

All of this, honestly makes you look great. But just seeing you in public without knowing anything about you, I'd wonder how you would respond to me coming up and trying to talk to you. As if you would pass judgment about my background or assume I was just some scrub.

That said, when I see a girl who looks a bit high maintenance, but I hear her speak and she turns out to be very down to earth and friendly, it's a definite breath of fresh air.

Lol oh I didn't think about it like that, I didn't know the way I dress could affect if guys talk to me or not, but I'm not high maintenance, I just like fashion a lot lol I'm like the type that if I see some cute jeans on sale for $15, I'm going to buy them no matter what anybody says lol so I'm not high maintenance, just very high fashioned, but do you think I should tone my fashion style down a bit?

No, I don't think you should tone your fashion down at all.

But I do think you should be aware that your look may be intimidating to some guys who may consider approaching. So it's essentially your job at this point to give them cues that it's okay to approach.

Because really, with any girl, we have NO way of determining how much of a bitch she's going to be prior to speaking with her. So little welcoming indicators help.

You're shy. *eye flirting*, eye contact, smiling are major ways to let guys know you're interested. if you don't do that then many of them will not approach you

You're not ugly. And yes, guys look at girls they think are attractive but don't approach her for many reasons, could be nervousness, shyness, intimidated, unsure, etc. If you've had guys approach you then that's good, what's the problem here right.
