So I made out with one of my good guy friends. We both knew before hand that it was just making out. Before he had joked that I was going to get attached and I told him that I'd be fine. The thing is, now he's acting weird. Like we don't talk as much and when we do it seems awkward. I know that kissing him was maybe stupid, so I don't need a lecture on that. But what do I do to help things get back to normal? Should I just keep acting as normal as possible and hope that he follows suit? Should I give him some time and let him come to me? Help! I'm so lost!

He probably liked the kiss more than you think and is trying to disrupt any feelings that may have grown for you. Continue to act normal around him, give him space and time and eventually he will come around. Making out with a friend is a don't do because it changes everything.

Talk to him, tell him that you don't want things to get awkward and for him to be distant. If you want to be just friends then you should tell him that, he probably thinks that you want more and feels awkward.
