Guy I've known for a year told me that he only thought of me as friend after I told him that I liked him as more than a friend. However, for that last six months he has been acting anything but friendly. Always flirting, touching, making jokes, wanting to hangout, always talking to me, sitting next to me, wanting to be my valentine. So I am a little confused. Unfortunately, he didn't tell me face-to-face he wanted to be friends so I couldn't see his actually facial reaction to see if he was being honest.

His actions reveal his true thoughts, always, BUT, keep in mind that he could be more interested in a FWB relationship than with a girlfriend, so just because he enjoys being friendly and intimate doesn't mean he's in love with you.

You're the woman, so your role is "gatekeeper." That means that YOU create the rules of how close you get to guys who aren't your boyfriend. And most girls make guys who aren't their boyfriend keep a bit of distance until they commit to being her boyfriend, and for good reason: it prevents these mixed-messages.

Keeping that in mind, you should wait until you're face-to-face and talk to him about it again, and based on his answer, you need to make a decision about how you're going to be with him in the future.

I agree with the guys on this one...keep your heart guarded until his true intentions are revealed here otherwise you're heading for a world of hurt. I know I'm speaking from experience here! Learn from my mistakes when I guy starts to show you some interest don't let your guard down. Be CLEAR about what you expect and what you want from your "relationship"
