How do I NOT give off a "player vibe"?

Im 18 and a freshman at college and I was talking to a girl in my class that told me I gave off a "player vibe" after we talked for a little bit. I asked her why and she said I just do and she can't describe it. I told her I wasn't and I am actually a virgin and she still won't believe me even though I tried convincing her every way possible.

Is this why girls try to ignore me? I don't do anything unusual. I've lifted weights since I was 15 so I'm pretty muscular and I'm also 6'4. But its a toned muscular not a huge bodybuilder muscular. I like to dress nice.. Fitted shirts, jeans, and a nice pair of shoes. I take really good care of myself and I have no acne or pimples and nice tan skin.

Is there anything I can do to not give off a player vibe? I'm really a sweet and nice guy.

Btw the shirts I wear aren't tight, they are just fitted enough to fit loose around my stomach but show off a little bit on my arms, chest/pecs

Hello! I think the reason she said that to you is because you are secure with your self and you are a fit good looking guy that takes pride on your looks. She is just probably very immature and she feels intimidated... I think self confidence is very sexy and attractive... Don't worry about it and don't change who you are. Maybe try to smile more often to give out a more friendly approachable vibe...BUT even then some "girls" will see that as being a player" SO you should continue being your self and don't change for anyone, Good Luck : )

Are you a bit insecure? You might be trying hard to make an impression on people and before you know it, girls think you're out of their league and act intimidated.

Just try to relax, you can show them you aren't a player by being easygoing and friendly. Talk to all kinds of people, not only the 'popular' ones. It'll show that you don't really care for status and you're not too shallow.

No I'm not insecure. I'm totally comfortable with who I am. Girls don't like giving me hints cause they just think I'm a player and won't bother, so I can't act nice if I don't even get a chance..
