Is she no longer interested in me?

I was hoping this situation wouldn't happen to me... at least, not anytime soon. But now I'm at a crossroads and I don't know what to do.

The girl I've been seeing seems to be losing interest in me. She no longer initiates calls/texts like she used to; doesn't seem to be the one to ask to hang out anymore (so far I've been the only one doing this ever since we hooked up); when I do ask her out she always seems to be pretty "busy" these days, or she would just be vague about whether or not she's actually free.

The only thing I can say is that she doesn't ignore me, though. For the most part, when I do call/text her she does respond within reasonable time. But other than that, it doesn't seem to be enough to make me believe that the girl is still into me like she used to.

So I don't know...

Well, I broke it off with her. It was just as I feared, she no longer was interested in me. It turns out that we just didn't mesh well according to her. If I could, I would award everyone here best answers... you guys were right.

The fury of the start of a relationship will fall off. But it sounds like she is done for now. Don't call or text or email or anything. She is being rude by not being honest with you about where she thinks things are. You need to get back into whatever you did before her. I know that is a lot easier to say than done.

If she calls up tell her to join you in what you are doing.

I'd just give her some space to text you or ask you to do something. So don't send her any contact for a while and see if she initiates contact with you. If she doesn't contact you, she either is losing interest or she's to afraid to take the lead by contacting you.

I was able to maintain a streak of no-contact with her for about a week but then I gave in and contacted her only because I did not want her to think I was ignoring her. But I fear that may have been my mistake. Yeah, I should definitely just wait for her instead.

Yeah a week is a pretty long time. I'd say she's lost interest and/or shopping around. She's still responsive which is good. I'd start doing your own thing...do some things that you enjoy and try giving her a few weeks and see what happens. She could get anxious and contact you...perhaps at the though that you are shopping around. OR she could just find someone else...if that is what she is trying to do. Either way, it is better to get it over with now than later...

Man... seriously, if the case were that she's lost interest and/or is shopping around I wish she could just come out and tell me and be done with it. I mean, if it were up to me, I'd try to hang out with her at least sometime soon so we can have "a talk" but I don't want to come off as pushy/desperate since the last couple of times I tried to spend time with her she's blown me off for one reason or another. How long do I gotta keep up this waiting game?

As long as it takes...you've reached the edge.

1. If you keep chasing she will get annoyed and drop you.

2. If you stop chasing she might find someone else, but she might not.

She will respect you more if you stop chasing. If a woman does not want to be chased, no matter what you do, you will NOT EVER catch her. The only thing that might bring her around is if you stop chasing her and show yourself having fun without her and with others. You can verify this from dating experts.

Give her some space. She might just want some time to figure things out. So what I would do is just give her some time, and see if she wants to keep going or break up. Let her decide.

See the funny thing is that I believe I give her plenty of space. We usually just hang out once, or twice if I'm lucky, a week. But who knows... I should let her decide, as you say.
