Is she not interested anymore?

A coworker was interested in me from the day she started at my job. She always stared at me, so I decided to talk to her. Instantly from her body language, I realized I was right that she was interested. Because we work in separate departments, it’s hard to talk to her. The last time we had a genuine conversation, my coworker ruined it by trying to make fun of me in front of her. After that, we never had an excellent chance to talk. I decided to focus more on work anyway. But she still always stared at me. She even came to my desk to speak to other coworkers but kept her attention on me. But the last few days, she's been different. She looks at me like she's angry and doesn't stare anymore. She only looks at me if she's standing far away from me. And she gives me glances. Like if we make eye contact, she immediately looks away. Sometimes I notice she gives me quick looks when she thinks I don't notice. Can anybody tell me what's going on?

It looks as if someone has possibly spread some gossip news about you.

If a person changes her behavior in such a drastic way, then there is always a good reason behind it and not just a change of mood. It could be that one co-worker has noticed that she pays too much attention to you and perhaps not enough to him/her.

From there, it is easy to spread some fake news that would lead that person to change her behavior and to perceive you in a different light.

If you want to know the reason why she has changed her attitude towards you, then you have no other option than to talk to her to try to find out.

If she has simply decided that you are not the person she though when she first met you, then you simply accept her decision and move on.

Only thing I could think of is she has a few friends that work in another building. In that building I hang out with a friend from time to time. Some people thought we were dating but she has a whole boyfriend. I noticed some people over there would give us glances at time. I hope that's not the case. Cause I've been interested in this girl for a while. Just work as has been terrible with how busy it is. There hasn't been too much downtime.

Oh dude it must be that she saw or heard you giving attention to another woman. Also she was giving you hints so obvious but you didn't really appreciate it ig. Girls seldom make the first move. My suggestion would be to just hang out in a group of office buddies including her and just yk talk with her
