Do shy guys lie about liking someone?

When a shy guy says he's not interested in you anymore but is constantly looking at you peeking around the corner walking out of there work just to stare at you and from across the room and up close like 2 ft away does that mean he was lying about the way he feels about you?

YES! This happened to me the other day. However, after he lied about not liking me he pulled me away and said he did. I guess he just wanted to tell me in person. I think you should ask his friends, check if he blushes, stares at you, teases you and all then he likes you. He probably just wasn't sure if you liked him back and was afraid of cruel rejection. If you don't like him, reject him nicely but firmly. If you do, then see if he gets mad when you stare at him, or if he likes it. I'll just say any way around, don't go rough on him because it's hard enough when your best friends betray you too.

Yes. A lot of my old friends in high school and even in college lied about it. They were afraid of rejection. Crappy way to live but that's what a lot of guys do.
