Grinding Alone?

I know a friend who grinded by himself in a club FULL of people for 30 minutes, three times a week. I must emphasize that he grinded alone? How is this even possible? As his best guy friend, should I offer to grind with him? Mind you, I am not gay, I am grinding girls as I watch him grinding alone and I feel quite bad. Do you have any tips for my friend? How can I comfort him when he feels down afterward and has the terrible realization that he grinded alone?

Did he say anything or visibly showed any signs of sadness? If not, mind your own business and let him have his fun. Some people like going at it solo.
