A Tribute to my Favorite Fitness App: Zombies, Run!

A Tribute to my Favorite Fitness App

Zombies, Run! sets you in a post apocalyptic world plagued with, you guessed it, zombies. You are Runner Five, and your mission is to collect supplies, perform rescues, and defend one of humanity's last remaining strong holds.

You can walk, jog, or run any where in the real world, listening to your own playlist. Occasionally your music will be interrupted (and paused) by a "radio transmission" relaying instructions regarding your mission, or by bits and pieces of an interesting, interactive storyline. As you run, you will automatically collect supplies, which you can later add to your base to make it stronger.

If you're feeling brave, you can turn on "chases." This means that throughout your workout, you will hear an indication that zombies are on your tail, and you will have to move faster in order to avoid being caught, in which case you will be forced to drop supplies to distract the zombies.

Change the settings from GPS to steps, and you can even use it on a treadmill.
