Many of us had this problem at some point (and some of us, might still have). Your mother might think you are anorexic when you are not. And unfortunately since this savage rule, to rush someone at the hospital (even if the person is an adult), exists...then you should try to find some ways on your own to stop it, instead of being a pawn of your guardian. Here are some ways I've followed so far.



Now if your mother wants to be constantly above you, to see what you eat and how much...then unfortunately there is no escape. Anyway those are the five ways.

1) Eat a lot before each weighing session.

Eat a cake on your own for example. Obviously, as much as you can afford, not to the point you are going to explode. This will help you to put on weight indeed. Although you can avoid putting on more weight by eating as little as you can, till the next weighing session.



2) Hide the food that you don't want to eat into a plastic bag and throw it away, in secret.

If the food is in a box, then do this: Put only the food into a plastic bag without the box. Then throw the box into the rubbish bag separately. The reason you should do this, is in order to make your mother believe you ate it, if in case she's obsessed with your weight, to the point she might check the rubbish. As for the plastic bag with the food, throw it away separately. But make sure your mother won't see you. So do it in hours like when she's at work, and you happen to be at home at the moment.



3) Put on extra clothes, that are not visible.

This only in winter could happen, I guess. Unless your mother wants you to weigh yourself naked. Personally I use to tell her that I feel ashamed being naked in front of her and she accepted it. I don't know if your own mother will do, but give it a try.



4) Put something into your pockets that it's small, still heavy enough to give you extra weight.

Of course this, if she doesn't mind weighing you if you wear any clothes. Avoid coins in this case because they make sound. Put something small that is made by iron, cooper, etc. ideally since it will weigh a little bit more.
