So, I've come to the conclusion I'm old finally!

So, the latest nail in my coffin was me having to buy readers (magnified glasses to be able to read). First, it started when I was in my 20's. I tore my right labrum playing some slow pitch softball while in the military. This was my early 20's. Late 20's, I tore my left arm labrum. Then the domino's just started falling. My lower back is going out where the stuff between the bones is pretty much almost gone. Both my knees last year started going. Hyper extended my right knee and has never felt right since. Then couple months later I banged my left knee on my dehumidifier and has not felt right since. I started to work out my vemo muscle to strengthen my knee then I pulled my groin. I have bone spurs growing in my ankles and my right shoulder. Which comes back to that. I have to have an endoscopy on my right shoulder and probably have surgery a second time on it. Im old! Lol

41 isn't old. Just some people's bodies can't take abuse all the time. There are some people who bruise or even break bones quite easily. Maybe you need to take it easy. You can't get well until you stop doing things you know, from experience, that may cause you problems. When the discs in your back deteriorate the only thing left is fusing your spine as far as I know. That would definitely affect your mobility. I'd be interested in what warning, if any, your doctors gave you against excess stess caused by working out.

None yet. I go through the va so they do the minimal amount necessary to pawn it off on someone else. Lol

Figures. I would bypass the VA and get an outside specialist. The outcome on your health would be worth it.

Well find someone who has the know how to help you. You shouldn't compare your life to others. You are who you have become. Be proud of it. Just think of it this way, they are paying a mortgage while all your paying is property taxes and insurance. You got a win win.

My bad I wasn’t trying to really compare myself it was just more of a people are kind of moving on with their lives and I can I just stuck and I feel old because I’m not trying to do some of the things they are. You definitely right about the house.

No, you are not! My ophthalmologist told me that literally a great portion of the population has declining eyesight at 40. Its a natural even that happens.

That does not sound like old age, it sounds more like long term nutritional deficiencies. The eyes go prematurely bad (in some cases) due to a lack of key minerals such as Lutein, zeaxanthin, astaxanthin, collagen and organic sulfur.

Everything that you mentioned about your back, knee, and bones can arise from deficiencies in D3, K2, magnesium, collagen, organic sulfur and other minerals.

I'm a little older than you and used to have problems before correcting deficiencies.

I've played so many sports as well. I was a runner, baseball, beach volleyball, golf, basketball every once in awhile, football here and there with friends. Those are adding up.

Yes that would cause a lot more wear and tear, therefore supplementation would have been a good idea. I would have supplemented with hydrolyzed collagen (20-30 grams a day), D3, K2, magnesium, sulfur and enzymes.

I did not play as much sport as you and I stopped lifting weights in favor of isomotion (slow movements under constant tension). I would have also used DMSO to aid in heeling too.

Id love to do water training, but ill never go in a public pool. Yuck. Or a public hot tub. Finances are tight because of college so I can't buy a pool, and I dont own land or I'd just build one myself

It sucks. I am thinking about a total hip replacement in the future. Too many marathons in my youth.

Dang. Well even after finding this stuff out, I have arthritis in both knees. Not sure if mentioned above, bone spurs in both ankles, one in my right shoulder, also found out I have an extra vertebrae, and my right hip keeps popping out of place. Plus the torn labrums, one in each shoulder. Probably going to have to have a second surgery on the same shoulder. I can't wait to be 49! Lol

Oh trust me, I wish I could workout again. But I can't move arms retain ways or the muscle pops like a rubber band in my shoulders. I can't do push-ups either or the same thing happens. Then once that happens and I move on, about 20 minutes later it feels like someone is stabbing my shoulders with a knife. Then just moving my knees is nearly the same. My knee caps continually move out of place so I started working out my legs, then I pulled my groin muscle. Its a sign from above that he doesn't want me to workout anymore
