People Aging Slower Than They Used To

People are aging much slower than they once did. The health of people overall and the quality of life just seems better. I cannot always tell how old a person is. The older they are, the more I may miss it. I have seen men and women my age (early 40s) that do not look a day over 30 and sometimes 25. The skincare products have evolved and is getting better. I think even many guys have improved their skincare.

On the the other hand, many young people from 18-21 or so try to look older. Women do this by using makeup and the way that the dress. Men do this perhaps by growing mustaches or beards. They spend these years tying to look older, but once they approach 30, they try to look younger.

Do These People Look their age? You tell me? Look at this :

At times aging is part of genetics. Some people just age quicker, but some do not due to this. Health and lifestyle has some effect on this aging process. What we eat affects us also.

Young people 30 and younger do not drink as much as we did I think. It is just not as popular. Yes, some vape, but they usually don't smoke. They tend to eat much healthier than previous generations. While some of these people exercise quite often, others do not.

Look at a picture of any high school yearbook in the 1950's and the students look older than they are. Part of this is the way that they dress, while part is that life was harder. The teachers especially look much older than teachers look today. This is where the "old lady" teacher stereotype began. Teachers today, especially when first beginning look much younger, and many times not much older than the high school students.

Health is much better for kids today as well. There is fluoride in the water, and dental care is much better. Heart care for the elderly has increased exponentially even in the last twenty years. Most people have a good chance of living with their first heart attack and stroke if it is addressed in time. There have been a few setbacks however.

Obviously, t6he Covid epidemic set everybody back. The lifespan dropped a little due to this. That said, I don't see anything really that would prevent lifespans from increasing in the next few years. More people do not smoke, and more workout. It should become common to live until 80, 90, or even 100. These people will have a pretty good quality of life also. Perhaps the saying is true. "60 is the new 40."
