well it's not really dangerous to lose weight fast as long as you stop at the right point.
While it's not necessarily healthy, you won't have any long term consequences either. Our bodies can deal very well with different availability of food. That's why we store fat in the first place.
The bigger issue is that once you lost that weight, you can't just go back to eating normal again, because then you'll gain weight.
Either way, you should work out everyday, twice if you can. Do cardio in the morning before breakfast and weights and toning in the evening, followed by a high protein meal.
At the very least you should eat 1000 cal a day. It's better alternate though. Fast one (or possibly two non consecutive) days a week and then eat your full caloric need on another, the rest of the days meet somewhere in the middle.
As for food, I'm sure you know a lot about that already. No sugar, no processed food...
Try having only fruit and vegetables before lunch, if you can before dinner. You can eat large quantities that way and still eat little calories. Juice them or make smoothies too. Then in the evening, don't have many carbs. Go for meat, beans, lentils, tofu, fish, milk and dairy combined with loads of vegetables

Eat clean and healthy food, eat often but not huge portions, be active by walking daily, some intense workouts that are quick but explosive. Most importantly be consistent, the moment you start losing track you can start gaining the weight back. Also make sure you're healthy enough to start doing this because you don't want something to go wrong.

Gaining muscles and being toned works for me. The more muscle you have the more calories you burn from sustaining the muscle. Now you don't have to be a body builder or anything, just staying toned looks nice and helps you loose weight.
Eat a balanced diet, and exercise. I've dropped quite a bit of weight just by changing my eating habits alone.
Count calories but do not undereat. Eat enough that you will lose a pound a week.
