What do you eat before and after a workout?

I usually have like a slice of multigrain toast with almond butters topped with sliced banana and a small bowl of greek yogurt with chia seeds and a sprinkle of blueberries. After, I have a whey protein shake with an omelette or chicken breast with veggies.
I'm trying to spice it up, so what do you guys suggest I have?

If I'm running late, I'll just eat an energy/protein bar or something.
