You will only conceive if she is ovulating. If you want a boy, those sperm only last for so many hours so you need to have sex closer to the egg release. After a woman's peruod, there is a five day period called the dry spell where she will not conceive. Depending on how long she goes until her next peruod determines when she ovulates. It usually lasts for 5-7 days after the dry spell. This is your window of opportunity. The best position for conceiving is doggie style as it puts you closer to the cervix. Good luck!

That's an old wives tale. Ejaculation contains millions of sperm. You can jump around after sex and it really won't make a difference.

When a woman orgasms, her cervix contracts causing it to dip in and out of the vagina. This is what grabs the sperm to carry it inside of her and increasing the odds of conception. She can still get pregnant without orgasm, but the likelyhood is greatly reduced as most sperm just hang out in the vagina. Keeping hips elevated makes some women feel better about the situation, but only those strong swimmers will find their way without her orgasm.
