Sadly there is no substitute for a good nights sleep, otherwise everyone would be using it.
You can force your body to stay awake longer, but it will eventually force you to sleep or die.

Get on the couch, turn on some relaxing Ambient music, and read a boring book. However, I might fall asleep.
I do a bunch of squats or fencing footwork. Gets the blood flowing and wakes you up a bit.
